Saber Force: Saber Force Instructions

Unlike lightsabers with only one colour, our sabres can change between 12 colours. Each colour has a different sound font and blade light effect that can be selected.

Press and hold the button to turn off the sabre for 10 seconds. The hilt button will make a slow sound, verifying it is shutting off. For more information about the Saber Force instructions, click here.

Blade Styles

Saber ForceA lightsaber is a bladed weapon constructed from a hilt that emits a plasma blade. It is the primary weapon Force-sensitive beings such as Jedi and Sith use.

Unique focusing crystals and power systems enable this hilt to project a blade up to three meters long. Jedi of immense stature favour this rare variation of the lightsaber.

To change a blade style, you must first activate your sabre by pressing and holding the power button until it flashes twice. Once the sword is active, you can twist left or right to cycle through different blade styles. Each blade style has a unique sound.

Pre-On Effects

When the sabre is turned on, it will play a sound, and a light ring around the power button will illuminate. Press the power button again to change sounds and effects.

Hold the button for 2 LED flashes (one second) to cycle rainbow blade colours. The sabre will stay in rainbow mode unless changed by another effect or a direct stabbing motion. For more information about the Saber Force instructions, click here.

Sound Fonts

A sound font, or sabre soundboard, is the compilation of sounds installed on a lightsaber. Sometimes, custom sound sabres arrive with one preset proper font installed on the soundboard, and other times, users install their sounds on the board to create different effects.

Often, these sound fonts are Star Wars-themed, but some draw upon other pop culture franchises and other sounds in general. Ultimately, it is the proper font that gives the lightsaber its personality.

Most sabre sound fonts offer boot-up, ignite/retract, and swing sounds. Some also include clash sounds and blaster bolt deflect sounds. Some sound fonts will even have a humming effect (also called gated reverb) for an extra element of ambience.

The hilt and blade are made from metal to ensure endurance in duelling. To change blade colours, first, the sabre must be activated, and then press and hold the power button (blue light flashes twice) while twisting the sword either left or right to cycle through the various options.

The Force FX sabre is popular for cosplayers, demonstrations and die-hard fans. It is also a good choice for students of the lightsaber form and stunts.

Sleep Mode

When you hold the button for 10 seconds, your sabre will sleep. It will also hibernate if left idle for 10 minutes. For more information about the Saber Force instructions, click here.

Pressing the power button once will bring your sabre out of Sleep Mode to wake it up. A sound will play, and the LED ring on the power button will turn on (if your model has it).

During awake mode, you can change the blade colour and sounds with the following functions:

Battery

Few objects have captured our imagination, like the lightsaber, a weapon of battles between light and dark. Its glowing blade reveals its wielder's stance—whether they seek peace and harmony as Jedi or strength and power as Sith.

Using the correct battery will help your lightsaber shine brighter! Battery manufacturers offer different AA and AAA batteries, each with a specific set of properties. Some prioritize longevity, others focus on power output, and others balance these properties.

If you are having trouble with your saber, here are some suggestions. First, make sure the saber is fully charged; this takes about two hours. If it is not, the saber will not activate. You can use the cable that came with your sabre, or you can purchase a separate battery charger here. Once you have the charger, plug it into the saber and wait 10 minutes for it to charge. If you still have a problem, the issue may be that the battery is not making contact with the contacts inside the saber. It can be solved by opening the saber, using a flat-edge screwdriver or the allen wrench provided, to bend the metal tabs inward a little bit gently; this allows the positive and negative ends of the battery to make contact easily.
